An ongoing look at the Omak Stampede in Omak, Washington. The main event, the World Famous Suicide Race, began in 1935 and sees mostly tribes members from the nearby Colville Reservation, rush down a some-odd 40-degree hill on horseback before blasting through the Okanogan River and into the arena. In north-central Washington, it's the biggest event of the year, every year.
