A corner on the main drag of my neighborhood in Seattle caught on fire recently. No one was injured, but a few small, lasting family businesses suffered massive damages. It was the biggest news to our relatively quiet corner of the city in quite awhile, so everyone came out to gawk. I came to gawk at the gawkers and say a goodbye to another corner of Seattle bound for mass-appeal apartments.
