(2019) Playwright and MacArthur Fellow Samuel Hunter photographed as he took a research trip for his then upcoming play Greater Clements. Hunter's focus on the human interaction that happens in in-between, rural locales. Greater Clements takes place in a fictional version based on Wallace, Idaho and its surrounding mining community. Hunter toured the area over a few days, recounting a tour he took as a child, getting a feel for the area. I joined him on a tour through Wallace and its Sierra Silver Mine. Full article here.
